Digital Safety, Citizenship, and Literacy
Tuesday, February 3 from 8:45 - 9:45
Room A002
The elementary years are when many of our children begin using more digital and online tools in their school and personal life. At ASW, our youngest students use the iPad to learn, create and access information. In the later years, the students use a laptop and the iPad to do the same. In this session, Bruce Roadside and Kris Sheehan, the ASW elementary school tech coaches, will share how we help our students as they begin to read and search for information digitally, tread into a more social online life, and master the digital skills they will need to be successful users of technology. We will also share resources on how you can help your children stay safe online and become positive digital citizens in our rapidly changing world.
